Easyjet Cabin Luggage Allowance

Easyjet allows passengers to take 1 hand baggage with them on the plane. It must be within the 56cm x 45cm x 25cm dimensions. Small items like a purse or a laptop will be counted as the allowed cabin baggage.

All liquids and creams taken on the plane must be packed in a zip-top transparent bag and in containers up to 100ml in volume.

Easyjet Checked In Baggage Allowance

Easyjet allows passengers to purchase 1 baggage of up to 20kg. If you purchase additional luggage, the maximum of 20kg between the 2 bags still applies.

Travellers under the same booking reference may share their weight allowance. For health and safety reasons, Easyjet recommends keeping the weight of each individual bag under 23kg.

Fees for the purchase of baggage allowance and additional bags vary depending on the destination and will be shown at the time of booking.

You can buy additional weight up to 50kg at £7 per kilo. No single bag over 32kg will be accepted. You are advised to book this additional baggage online in order to benefit from discounted rates.

Passengers travelling with infants are not allowed any extra baggage. All the baby’s items should be packed in the accompanying adult’s baggage.

If you are travelling on a folding wheelchair, Easyjet will carry it free of charge on top of your baggage allowance.

Easyjet Oversized Luggage

If you are flying with sports equipment like a golf bag, skis or surfboards you can purchase an aditional12kg on top of your weight allowance for £25 if booked online, or £30 if purchased at the airport.

Bicycles have to be properly packed for air travel in a specific bag or bicycle box.

If you want to take your musical instrument, you can carry it with you in the cabin if it is within the 30cm x 120cm x 38cm dimensions, subject to space availability. Larger instruments up to 32kg will have to be checked in as part of your allowance.
